At BETTER we have a strong and diverse team with both male and female practitioners with a variety of skills and mixed backgrounds.

We offer a variety of services to a range of populations and abilities, injuries and conditions at the Gym, Hydrotherapy centre and your home. We work with local GPs, support co-ordinators and rehabilitation specialists to provide optimal care and support. We can see you at either our clinic in Emerton, the local hydrotherapy centres or via our mobile service to all Western Sydney suburbs.

What’s the difference between an Exercise Physiologists and a Physiotherapist?

Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) and Physiotherapists are both allied health professionals that will help you with an injury, manage pain and rehabilitate you. The difference being AEPs primary focus is to use exercise to prevent, manage and treat conditions. Whereas Physiotherapists also provide exercise therapy and are trained in the diagnosis of musculoskeletal injuries, can provide manipulative therapy, massage and dry needling also. Physiotherapists will usually treat people in the acute phase. However, we work collaboratively together to achieve your goals.
